This afternoon, I am flying up to New York for college visits and an internship. This may make me not able to post as much as I like to these next 2 weeks. I will still try and post everyday but, this may not happen so still check back every once in a while. Time for good news… I’ll be at Citi Field on Wednesday live blogging the Mets-Marlins game (again.) See you guys soon!

Happy Birthday MNN
Today, the day before opening day, Mets News Now officially turns 1 years old and now that I have the ability to watch all 162 games, I actually feel comfortable posting about them without lying to whomever reads. But on a more corny and cliché note I simply want to thank everyone who reads my website and hope to get more viewers in year 2. I want to give huge thank yous to my sister, Jenny, who set up the domain and encouraged me start the blog. Also, I would like to thank Matt Cerrone and Michael Baron from MetsBlog for helping me get viewership and using my posts on their website. If anyone who reads my stuff likes what they see, don’t be afraid to comment and/or tell your friends about this site because the more people who I can teach, inform, or even entertain, the more successful I can be. So once again my biggest thank you goes to all my readers no matter how few and far between you all may be. And, finally, all I have to say is LETS GO METS! I AM PUMPED FOR 2011!
Onto the offseason…MetsNewsNow offseason plans
Now that the 2010 season is over, you may be wondering what I will be doing for this offseason.
- First, obviously, I will be following and posting about offseason moves that the team makes including personnel changes, signings, and trades.
- Also, I will be writing a 2-part 2010 season review about what happened this year.
- Third, I will be doing player by player analysis of their year and how they did.
- Occasionally, I will be remembering the best moments of 2010.
- Finally, Video of the week will continue.
I hope everyone continues to read this offseason. Any requests you have you can email me or simply comment on this post.
