The Numbers:

1. Ruben Tejada had a huge day today getting 2 hits and 5 RBI including his first career home run.
2. Ike Davis had 4 hits today including a 2 run homer and 3 RBI in all.
3. Luis Hernandez went 3 for 7 with an RBI.
4. Angel Pagan went 2 for 6 with 3 RBI.
5. Carlos Beltran had 2 hits and an RBI.
6. Arias and Carter had RBI pinch hits.
7. Jon Niese went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.
8. Niese went 6 innings gave up 5 runs and struck out 4.
9. Dessens, Feliciano, Parnell, and Acosta pitched the rest of the game.
10. The Mets drew a total of 9 walks today.

What a day for everyone in the lineup…every one with an at bat got a hit today except for Duda.

Ike is taking balls the other day again. This could mean a hot streak for him.

Great day for Tejada…don’t expect this daily though.
